Managing Partner
Jacob graduated from Bina Nusantara University with double degree in majoring of Accounting and Information System. Jacob started his accounting career at PT SMART, Tbk., one of Multi National Company in Indonesia, as accounting supervisor for three years. Then he moved to PT Barito Pacific, Tbk in 2010. Before joining KAP MGN as a tax partner for three years, he worked for 5 years at GS Global Corporation, 5th Korean Multi National Company, as accounting manager.

During Jacob’s years experiences in accounting and taxation, he capable to handle variety issues that occurred in any types of business industry, from individual section to corporation section both for national company or international company. In order to strengthen his career, he encouraged take the certification for tax consultant and public accountant. Now, he has held tax practitioner license from Minister of Finance and also as Certified Public Accountant. Besides, he also registered as tax court attorney.
For his acknowledgement in tax, he is actively contributed in of PERKOPPI (Perkumpulan Konsultan Praktisi Perpajakan Indonesia) as general secretary. Jacob participated at HIPMI (Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia) as well. He was entitled as tax consultant at HIPMI tax center. More than that, he also dedicated his knowledge at KADIN (Kamar Dagang Indonesia) – South Jakarta Branch as head of taxation commission.

Halim Santoso started career as an accountant by taking a formal education with bachelor degree in Accounting in 1981. Two years later, he passed the economics state examinations majoring in Accounting in Jakarta. In 1995, he graduated from postgraduate degree majoring in Finance & Banking (MBA & MM) in Jakarta. In addition, he also took non-formal education for tax consultation and he hold tax consultant certification (apply for individual and corporation). Finally, started in 1997, he focused the career in the business consultation and taxation issue.

By utilizing the experience and knowledge in terms of business consultancy and taxation that more than 35 years of work, Halim Santoso is able to handle various clients (individual and corporate) that vary in their problems both national and multinational companies. His position as a business and tax consultant practitioner was proven by actively participated in IKPI (Ikatan Konsultan Pajak Indonesia) and served as one of the central board chairmen for the period 2014 to 2019. Now, as founder of PERKOPPI (Perkumpulan Konsultan Praktisi Perpajakan Indonesia) he took a lead as one of board counselors.
